Meet April Bee
Born in Montgomery County, PA and raised in Philadelphia, PA, April Bee fell in love with music at an early age. Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Rosemont College in Bryn Mawr, PA, April’s initial focus was print and television journalism, but her love of music shifted her focus to radio. April currently hosts ‘The JuiceBox’ alongside co-host kEnZo sMaLLz and is a co-founder & and creative content director for Cóphi Productions.
When April isn’t working on the show, she’s with her two beautiful children, writing, reading or listening to music. She’s a huge fan of jazz, tacos, and double stuffed Oreos.
Meet kEnZo sMaLLz
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mikenzie, also known as kEnZo, gained an interest in communications while studying at Rosemont College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She received her B.A. degree in communications and broadcasting and decided that radio would be her career starting point.
She spent 7 months at iHeartMedia as a Programming/News and Community Affairs intern working alongside Patty Jackson and Loraine Ballard Morrill. There she learned the skills to produce and conduct a successful radio show as well as various audio editing techniques. Shortly after she joined the Eye Opener Morning News team at WPHL17 as an intern turned Production Coordinator. There, she mastered skills in news production.
